Corrective Kinetics Video & Photoshoot

For this assignment Double Vision was awarded the opportunity to create and design the first photo and video campaign to represent and launch the brand of Corrective Kinetics is a fitness facility located in Vancouver – specializing in elite strength & conditioning, and corrective exercise services. ​In meeting with Owner, Lance Barrett – Head Strength & Conditioning Coach and now COO at Elite Performance ​we came to discover the elements and genre of the context he identified as ​the ​Corrective Kinetics​ brand​​. With this information we created our proposals and presented Lance with the vision and message we felt defined the company. ​Once we had the go ahead it was off to to the production of the video and photograph promotions.

The face and if you will body, we were in search of to personify the vision ​we wanted to create for​ Corrective Kinetics had to be of-course: fit, attractive and appealing. Those characteristics are not difficult to find in​ most​​ ​actress​’​​ ​/​ ​model​s​​ ​but, ​with ​most​ ​fitness promotions​​ ​those hire​d​ actors ​are ​not usually​ members or clients.​ ​An initial hurdle for us that was easily avoided; Lance​ ​has a wealth of experience in th​e​ industry along with an impressive roster of clients:​ ​2 World Champions, 2-time Stanley Cup Champion, CFL All-star, Memorial Cup Champion, a National Champion and Multiple Provincial Champions​,​​ with that we took from the well​.​

For this project we were pleased and fortunate to have Kim McMullen to land the job, she’s a former soccer pro now ​working as model internationally and also a client of Corrective Kinetics. Kim was a perfect fit in every aspect she has all qualities we were looking for, a legit athlete and the ideal persona to launch the brand. ​What you see in the final video is authentic, ​Kim gave her all in each and every take and every scene ​there were ​no short cuts​ Lance was there to supervise all movements and exercises​.
