The Bond Party Event Video
In the last blog post we mentioned whether its for a product launch, charity or promotion like a James Bond VIP event, Double Vision can capture those memorable moments for you. Well call it coincidence or good foreshadowing it afforded us the opportunity to cover the latest promotion held at the Shangri-La Hotel Vancouver. Similar to the Halloween event we photographed last month, only the theme here was all James Bond.
On the eve of the newest James Bond release SKYFALL this night was aptly titled ‘From Shangri-La with Love’, to celebrate 50 years of Bond movies captivating audiences. Yes, Martinis were shaken all night long and this event’s success was also in due part to the sponsorship of Aston Martin Vancouver, Bollinger Champagne, and Grey Goose Vodka.
People dressed as their favourite Bond or Bond villain filling the Xi Shi Lounge who played host to live entertainment, go-go dancers and roulette wheel; sorry no friggin shark tank with lasers on their heads. Prizes included best Bond themed costume, limited edition 50th anniversary Bollinger Champagne in commemorative 007 case, Spa massage, weekend stay for two in the Deluxe room of Shangri-La Vancouver and more.
Jamie and I captured video and stills of the beautiful crowd and highlights of the event at the clients request to package as such and in combination of both.
