Jamie and I conceptualized and designed this project for the Lexus dealership located in North Vancouver Management requested photos to promote the dealership and the sales team to new and returning customers. Theses photos are used in print for promotional mail outs, postcards and advertisements. This project required set up of an off location studio – We used 2 Photoflex Lite Dome soft boxes, one off camera diffused flash that served as the main key a bouncer a continuous back-light to separate subject from our Manfrotto backdrop. Basic tonal corrections were made in Adobe Photoshop Lightroom5 and final select pics spent a few hours each in the Adobe Photoshop CC barber’s chair.
For the Interior / Exterior shots we used only the 5DIII and popped fill flash when needed and a mix of lenses. The Lexus emblem was shot using our 100mm Canon Macro L Series secured on tripod with off camera shutter release in showroom utilizing an uncommon break of Vancouver sun light diffused by both window and table cloth to diffuse it further, so I could open the aperture for the right amount of shallow depth of field.
