On April 21st Double Vision Photography for the 3rd year in a row is pleased to announce we will be photographing the 5th anniversary of ‘Taste for Life’ celebration to raise funds and awareness to conquer oral cancer. We are also proud to announce that this will be our 2nd year as official sponsors.

Taste for Life – Conquer Oral Cancer – Vancouver 2016
Each year the event has been a sell out to over 300 of Vancouver’s most influential and philanthropic supporters including many big names sponsors. The event will be hosted by CTV’s news anchor journalist ‘Norma Reid’, attendees include Man About Town ‘Fred Lee’ a multi-course dinner menu created by Executive Chef Greg Van Poppel of the Terminal City Club joined by Celebrity Guest Chef Vikram Vij with musical performance by Vivace Group a four member band of pop and classical. There will be VIP Tasting Rooms serving delicious wines and champagnes with entertainment featuring the talented all-girl singing trio, The Agency, as well as a silent and live auction.

Oral Cancer is a lesser-known but deadly cancer affecting approximately 3,000 people in Canada every year. Currently, oral cancer screening is generally performed at dental offices. Early detection of oral cancer is critical to saving lives because the earlier oral cancer is detected, the greater the chance better outcomes and survival. They need your help to raise awareness and funds for this important cause so that important oral cancer research can continue and benefit those afflicted with this devastating disease. Jamie I would like to thank Brenda Currie, Chair of the Committee, who is a long time advocate and volunteer for the program for making all this possible and bringing us aboard. She is inspiration and dedicates much of her time to organize this event. We’d like to extend our congratulations to the Taste for Life event, its always been a memorable time. Many great moments shared by all who attend, a lot of money is raised for a very special cause.
