Interior photo shoot for ‘UFood Grill’ – Where delicious meets nutritious. Vancouver is known for it’s healthy and active lifestyles, UFood Grill recognizing this has taken charge and planted their flag in the heart of the city for the health conscious minded.
UFood’s approach is with food you already know and love, cooked in a healthier way. Burgers, fries, sirloin tips, wraps, salads and paninis. All baked, steamed, or grilled, but never, ever fried. You can choose from a wide variety of menu items that include vegetarian, reduced sodium and fat, gluten free, low calorie and low carb options.
Double Vision photographed the interior of the restaurant for Izabela Pudlak of North Pacific Interiors who designed the restaurant and for the owners of this UFood Grill franchise. Izabela wanted images for her portfolio and UFood wanted images for media purposes. So they came together and shared this project.

Time was a factor, we had to coordinate the interior photo shoot with the restaurant trying complete construction in-order to meet its launch date before the grand opening. Our only option to accommodate their schedule was at night. I took these photos with my wide angle EF17- 40mm f/4L Canon glass to get those deep corner shots needed to showcase the layout and design of the room. I popped in my off camera 430 EX flash, mounted on light stand attached to a Justin Clamp; no diffusion dome to throw as much light as I could at the scene where need, flash was at full power.
“We hired John and Jamie to take some professional photographs of our new UFood Grill restaurant on Granville St and they provided an excellent service! We were very pleased with all the pictures they were able to capture from very unique angles. Their final touch ups and graphic designs were very creative and tasteful. We look forward to working with them again for future projects.”— Zaid Al-Chalabi – Managing Partner at ASA Energy Consulting Ltd.
